Shineon hand in hand with QDvision build leading and innovative products for TCL

Quantum dot light bar which is a high color gamut lighting solutions offered by Shineon (Beijing) Technology CO., Ltd

(Shineon for short), was officially drived to the market after completing the technical development and application

verification of the LCD system terminal in 2014.

 

TCL TV+Q55H9700, the first quantum dot TV in China. The NTSCcolor gamut coverage as high as 110%, was currently the world's highest color gamut coverage of television product, was officially released at 16:30 on 15th December 2014 in

Beijing. It is worth to mention that Quantum dot illuninant project is jointly developed by Shineon and QDvision. The advert of quantum dots TCL television, which completely changed the development direction of the TV display technology, led the global TV industry entering a new area of quantum dots.

 

Frank Fan , the CEO of Shineon and Jason Carlson, the CEO of QDvision also addressed on the conference. Shineon was the first and the only domestic company that owns a mature quantum dot light source program design and executive capacity. QDvision has been the authority in the field of quantum dot material and the first company providing quantum dot product

to display in lighting market in the whole world. Frank Fan said that quantum dots technology made a major breakthrough

in the applications of LCD, benefiting from the strategic partnership between Shineon and QDvision. In the future, Shineon and QDvision will work with TCL together for further cooperation, build more and better TVs equipped with quantum dot.
