Plant Lighting Solutions and Product Introduction
Yimei has developed two major series of LED light sources for plants, utilizing high-air-tightness encapsulation technology. One category consists of monochromatic packages using blue- and red-light chips (3030 and 3535 series), while the other category employs blue-light chips to excite phosphors (3030 and 5630 series). The monochromatic light series boasts high luminous efficacy, with a PPF value reaching up to 3 μmol/s/W. These lights can be integrated with smart lighting systems for dynamic spectral adjustments, making them ideal for applications such as high-value crops, small-scale experiments and demonstrations, and supplemental lighting in greenhouses. On the other hand, the blue-light-chip-excited phosphor series allows for flexible adjustment of spectral ratios by varying the type and amount of phosphor used. This approach offers advantages such as consistent photoelectric performance across all LED beads and uniform light mixing, simplifying both driver and optical design. Most of these products adopt mature white-light packaging designs and materials, delivering excellent performance at low cost—making them the preferred choice for large-scale agricultural production. A range of standardized products tailored to different plant species has already been developed, enabling rapid mass supply.
1.1 3030 Monochromatic Light Series
The 3030 monochromatic light series consists of monochromatic packaged products featuring blue- and red-light chips. Typical products include SOH3030-PL-B450-EA, SOH3030-PL-R660-EA, and SOH3030-PL-R730-EA. Relevant parameters are shown in Table 1. The corresponding spectral distributions are illustrated in Figure 1. The wavelengths of SOH3030-PL-B450-EA and SOH3030-PL-R660-EA are 450 nm and 660 nm, respectively, and these wavelengths serve as “light fertilizers” for plants, providing the energy needed for photosynthesis. Meanwhile, SOH3030-PL-R730-EA delivers signals that regulate plant growth, modulating physiological activities such as flowering and germination.

1.3 3030 Phosphor Series
The 3030 phosphor series uses blue light excitation to generate fluorescence, and its spectral distribution can be adjusted by varying the types and proportions of phosphors. This series boasts a wide range of products with excellent performance and low costs. Typical products include STH3030-PL-ECC, STH3030-PL-NUOA-A, and STH3030-PL-OWOX. -A and STH3030-PL-AL, whose relevant parameters are shown in Table 2. The spectrum of STH3030-PL-ECC contains a portion of violet light energy, which can promote the synthesis of certain special compounds in plants and give them more vibrant colors. The green light contained in STH3030-PL-AL can help reduce the levels of nitrates and other similar substances in leafy vegetables. The corresponding spectral distributions are shown in Figure 3.
